We celebrated my wife Ellen's birthday yesterday. Actually, it was a continuation of the birthday lunch we had Sunday. Sam, however, keeps thinking that it's her birthday whenever someone celebrates.
I'm not exactly a mushy person, and sometimes I find it weird to have a blog when I never wrote stuff in a diary or kept a journal. But I just wanted to tell Ellen and the whole world (well, the small percentage of it that gets to read this post, anyway, hehe) how much I love her and how lucky I am that she's my wife.
We've been married for five years, and we've had our ups and downs -- mostly my fault -- but I would marry her again and again. I can't imagine life without her and our daughter Sam. I'll always be grateful that we decided to spend the rest of our lives together, and I'll always strive to be worthy of her love.
Happy birthday, B. And take care always.
(OK, so maybe I am a mushketeer in denial after all.)
