agja singapore eb
We had fun last night at the Asian Gaming Journalists Association EB in Singapore for the members covering the World Cyber Games 2005 Grand Final.
Thanks to Jing Garcia of Manila Times' TechTimes; Emir Samonte of PC World Philippines, Ed Geronia of GamesMaster Philippines; Sansan de Leon of Studio 23's Digital Tour; Aaron Yip and Jaczie Lo of GameAxis; and Leung Wai-Leng of the Straits Times' Digital Life for making the AGJA Singapore EB possible.
Special thanks to ITJourno Asia/MediaConnect Asia's Glen Myles, Aaron Koh and Tan Lili for co-organizing the event and supporting AGJA. Stay tuned for more on the AGJA/ITJourno Asia partnership.
I'm also grateful to our friends Nick Jacobs of IBM, Darrel Chua of eFlyte, and Chester Chi of WebMoney, as well as Sansan's Studio 23 colleague JP Aquino (who's also covering the WCG 2005 Grand Final) and buddy Camille (sorry Camille, didn't get your last name, hehe).
IBM's Quentin Staes-Polet also dropped by at the WCG press con yesterday afternoon just to say hi and that he was sorry he couldn't make it to the AGJA EB since he was flying to India that night. Thanks, man, I really appreciate it.
