Intel is batting for new capabilities-based benchmarking tools that will measure the actual experience of PC users.
I had very interesting conversations with Matt Dunford, worldwide client benchmarking manager, who flew to KL from the chipmaking giant's Santa Clara, California headquarters for the Intel South East Asia Benchmarking Tour. More on that in my INQ7 Infotech story later.
I just finished editing one of my INQ7.net sites. We stayed at the Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur for the Intel event, but we just checked in this evening at Cititel, a hotel here in Mid-Valley beside Asia's biggest mall, which funny enough is also called Megamall (no relation to our own Sm Megamall, hehe), to talk to some of the speakers at the Asian Game Developers Summit. I'm now at the Cititel business center.
Got to go for now.
