who's the next target?
I really had a wonderful time in Singapore and Malaysia last week, plus we got to learn a lot during the MediaConnect Asia Security Issues Forum and Experience 3G with Ericsson media workshop.
Here's one of the stories I wrote last week about the Singapore security issues forum, where experts stressed that we can expect more targeted attacks against companies and government agencies:
SINGAPORE--Viruses and other malware that affect thousands of computer users might hog the media headlines, but the real security threat comes in the increasing number of targeted attacks launched against companies and institutions.
"The mass target attacks get all the press, but the targeted attacks do the most damage," said Nigel Stewart, McAfee’s regional sales manager for Southeast Asia and India, at the MediaConnect Asia Security Issues Forum held in Singapore on September 5.
