cyberpress gaming forum
If you're a gamer, game developer, or someone who's interested in learning more about the Philippine gaming industry, you might want to head on over to the Hotel Intercontinental Manila in Makati City on Jan. 28.
The IT Journalists Association of the Philippines, better known as Cyberpress, will hold "Plug and Play: A Forum on the Philippine Gaming Industry." Cyberpress president Abi Ho, who is a business reporter of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, said that the conference will tackle the different aspects of gaming, including its business viability and sociological impact. She said that the forum will include speakers from IDC, Spoon Interactive, Level Up!, Intel, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Anino Entertainment, Netopia (Digital Paradise Inc.) and UST.
The conference is open to the public and registration is free. Registration will start at 12 noon and the conference will be from 1-5: 30 p.m. No word yet on the exact venue at the Hotel Intercon, so stay tuned.
